Our Web page has been taken hostage by armed revolutionaries!
A web page on the popular satire site The Dead Synapse Society has been taken hostage by a group of armed men seeking the release of a number of political prisoners around the world. Details are still sketchy at this stage, but an MI5 spokesman said that the group was known to them and they had attempted this kind of stunt before, without success.
It is not yet known how the page, which is believed to be the one you are trying to access at the moment, is being treated or indeed why it was chosen as a target. DSS Editor-in-Chief, Sir John, has appealed to the terrorists to return the page unharmed and for the public to come forward with any information they may have.
"I'm not sure which page it was, or how important it was, but it's our page and we'd like it back," he told a small gathering of bored reporters. "If anyone knows anything, including how they got to this page in the first place, we ask that you contact us urgently. Who knows, your information could be vital."
At this point the reporters looked confused and left the press conference.
